managed within the lunch & planning 2 hour block to travel downtown and take care of 4 things:
- passport photos as cvs
- money order at the bank
- apply for a visa at the embassy
- exchange dollars for pounds in draft form (at a sad rate)
This was exciting after monday afternoon's failed attempts. While my dollars are not going as far as originally thought with regard to the pound exchange, i have to keep in mind that i was paying for tuition, lodging, and food with that lump sum. (and of course, the visa is an indispensable part of the traveling plan as well.)
