fees

so fedex didn't leave my ticket today because i wasn't at home to get it...
a. right, i was at work
b. i won't be home again tomorrow when they try
c. who does paper airline tickets these days, anyway?

And to change the location for delivery, it would be an added 14 dollars.

Just like to transfer my money into pounds there's a fee
and then a fee for the bank draft
and now a fee to send it to the UK so that it can then be sent to Africa.

wow, that's a lot of fees for my money. i'm sad that it's not like central america where they wanted my american dollars. nope, not in this case. now they want pounds. and i have to pay 3 fees on the same money to do that.

we're adding going back to the money exchange place to monday's to-do list since it's a block away from the gambian embassy where i'll be attempting to get a visa. but that means i also need to go get some passport photos and a money order.

i guess i'm adding a skill to my resume: dealing with money.
